Well, that was an... interesting trip. Yeah, I came home a bit early, mainly because Cleveland is not my favorite place in the world. Thanksgiving was okay, and my mother (who works at Target) survived Black Friday. She told me it was fun, in fact.
Man, what's the deal with that day? What's so special about it? I guess I'll never fully understand.
You might notice a lack of photos from the trip, that's because I didn't bring my camera. (I forgot to charge it before I left.) I had my Panasonic Lumix PnS with me, so I took some pics with that, none of them came out too well, though. God, I hate point n' shoot cameras.
I got to my hotel room at about 4:00 PM yesterday, and passed out on the bed immediately after. I had a strange dream, in fact, the first dream I've had in quite a while. It went a little something like this:
So, I woke up in the dream, and found myself lying down on the bed, then the wall, then the ceiling. Only thing is, there was no ceiling. I didn't fall, but I landed on something, though it felt like nothing at all. I looked ahead and saw a valley of clouds and an ocean of sky, pink, white, and blue.
Not only that, the sun was rising into the ground, and it seemed to tremble, like it was crying. Then suddenly, I find myself holding the sun in my hand, but it was no larger than a golf ball, and it was as light and as cold as snow.
It was so puny and so pathetic that I nearly chucked it into the abyss below me, but then something happened. I went blind, for the star had not lost its light.
Something so tiny, so seemingly insignificant held the power to show us time, and everything else. Then, before I awoke, I said to myself;
"It doesn't matter how big, how hot, how heavy, or how far a way the sun is, all that matters is that it stays as bright as it's always been, and that we must never let it die."Yeah, it was pretty odd, but I think I get it. I usually don't understand the message behind the dreams I have, but now I do.
On the way home I stopped by the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. The place was awesome, had shit from all kinds of awesome musicians. Weezer might get a spot there soon, or so I hear.
Oh, yeah. Guess what? I have caffeine addiction. Yay!
So, have a good weekend,
